Changes to the 20% Application process
I hope that this finds you all well. Please find the new application form for our 20% Project – A Time to Think. To enable more flexibility in the scheme and to give technical staff more opportunities to apply, the 20% application time frames have changed. Submissions can now be made throughout the academic year, at any time throughout the three terms or holiday periods.
All the existing elements of the scheme remain the same, successful applicants will be allowed to spend 20% of, up to, five contracted weeks to explore a idea or project outside of their standard day to day activities. This could be a collaborative project with another facility within the college, or an investigation into new uses of technology.
